PRODUCTION ZONE: the town of Mezzaprada pp.ff.
2569/2, 2576 e 2579 the municipal area of Aldeno (TN)
GRAPEVINE VARIETIES: Trentino Pinot Grigio, medium grape, cylindrical,
semi-compact, small, round gray grape. Clone R6.
TYPE OF SOIL: calcareous and slime-sandy gravel of morainic origin.
VINEYARD SYSTEM: typical Trentino's simple pergola with 4.000 vines
per hectare.
SPECIAL RULES: integrated viticulture according to the agreement with
the Trentino's office record.
WINTER PRUNING: very pure with 25 gems per block.
GREEN PRUNING: 3 during the actual season.
PRUNING: 4 concentrated in summer time and one before harvesting.
HECTARE PRODUCTIVITY: 80 hl, scarcely productive vine.
GRAPE HARVEST: first 10 days in September,entirely manual, grapes
coming exclusively from our vineyards.
WINEMAKING: soft pressing and praise most fermentation at controlled
temperatures of 20°C.
FERMENTATION: steel INOX tanks for 5 months.
BOTTLING: Following Spring after grape harvest.
DESCRIPTION: Straw yellow colour with greenish tints. Delicate, very
intense and persistent fragrance that reminds flowery and fruity blends from
acacia flowers to white melon, pineapple and pear.The taste is fully dry,
good, soft, aromatic.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 12°C
FOOD MATCH: It comes with different combinations, such as dishes
based on eggs as well as boiled poultry, sea and river fish, steam cooked,
oven cooked sea bass fillet and special risotto.
DURATION: 3 years of bottling.
