PRODUCTION ZONE: owns of Cros and Cesure pp.ff 572.2299, 2300,
2301, 2302, 2303, 2304, 2305, 2306 e 2307, 2347 e 2352/3 municipality of
Nomi (TN).
GRAPEVINE VARIETIES: Trentino Marzemino. Medium big, pyramidal
medium-compact grape with developed wings, mature cane stem. Medium, round
blue-black coloured grape.
Clone SMA-9-18.
TYPE OF SOIL: Medium, alluvial, slime-sandy mixture rich of
thin materials and clay.
VINEYARD SYSTEM: Typical Trentino's simple pergola for 4.000 vines
per hectare.
SPECIAL RULES: Integrated viticulture according to the agreement with
the Trentino's office record.
WINTER PRUNING: very pure with 25 gems per block.
GREEN PRUNING: 3 during the actual season.
PRUNING: 4 concentrated in summer time and one before harvesting.
HECTARE PRODUCTIVITY: 80hl.
GRAPE HARVEST: First 10 days in October, entirely manual, of grapes
coming exclusively from our vineyards.
WINEMAKING: Soft pressing and most fermentation in contact for
10 days with peels at temperatures of 29°C with frequent grape pressing.
FERMENTATION: In steel INOX tanks for 6 months
BOTTLING: Following spring after grape harvest.
DESCRIPTION: Ruby red color with tints of violets. Very intense
fragrance, fruity and flowers flavours of purple violet and cherry.Dry,
tasty, harmonic taste with a last smell of almond.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18°C
FOOD MATCH: Perfect with white meat, boiled meat and fine poultry.It
blends well with salami, mixed mushroom with polenta and matured cheeses
such as Grana from Trentino.
DURATION: 3 years of bottling.
