PRODUCTION ZONE: owns of Carestel, pp.ff. 572 e 574 municipality of
Nomi (TN).
GRAPEVINE VARIETIES: Trentino Merlot, medium grape, pyramidal, winged,
medium-compact, blue-dark grape, pruinous.
TYPE OF SOIL: deep, medium, rich of skeleton and thin materials and
clay.
VINEYARD SYSTEM: Typical Trentino's simple pergola for 4.000 vines
per hectare and Guyot for 6.500 vines per hectare.
SPECIAL RULES: Integrated viticulture according to the agreement with
the Trentino's office record.
WINTER PRUNING: very pure with 25 gems per block.
GREEN PRUNING: 3 during the actual season.
PRUNING: 4 concentrated in summer time and one before harvesting.
HECTARE PRODUCTIVITY: 60 hl. 40-year-old pergola vineyard.
GRAPE HARVEST: First 10 days in October, entirely manual, of grapes
coming exclusively from our vineyards.
WINEMAKING: Soft pressing and most fermentation in contact for 20
days with peels at temperatures of 30°C with frequent grape pressing in
special oak vats.
FERMENTATION: In French oak barrique Allier for 12 months and 12
months in bottle.
DESCRIPTION: Strong ruby red color. Very intense and persistence
fragrances of aged grapes, cherry, sour black cherry, raspberry and small
red fruits, rich of spiced and very changeable. Softness and roundness melt
in the mouth. Wide and warm tastes gather happily together with the power of
soft tannins. Nose and mouth are nicely wrapped in one unique sensation,
results of an aged grape wisely transformed in Merlot wine.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18°-20° C.
FOOD MATCH: it combines with red grilled meat, tonco of pontesel with
polenta, salami and game, aged cheeses and for special moments with truly
friends.
DURATION: Exquisite wine to lay down.
NOTE: Exceptional red wine of extraordinary quality as a result of

Merlot grape.
